I will edit in pretty much any category, but won't take scat or urination stories. I have written speeches for Ambassadors and Admirals, had some short fiction published, and have been the duty "writing guy" in numerous assignments.
I am willing to help with anything from usage and spelling on the micro level to plot and characterization on the macro level.
I pay close attention to detail and I'm good at punching up the pace of action scenes and fixing dialogue problems. I have specific knowledge and experience in ground combat, civil and military aviation, and human intelligence operations.
I recommend reading my submissions before requesting help. If you don't like the writing, you may not value my help.
I enjoy line editing, but if you have structural problems, we'll have to fix those first. For example, if you've written a story from the point-of-view of a totally omniscient narrator, I will insist on changing it and will provide help in doing so. Once that is done, we'll get down to line editing. |
