I view editing as an opportunity to both teach and learn from my writers. Proper spelling, grammar, and complex sentence structure come very naturally to me. I've had plenty of experience working as a copy editor (proofreader) and general editor for my college's newspaper, and my Journalism professor and classmates have told me many times that I'm a pleasure to work with, and my work is invaluable to the team. I've had a lot of practice in working with authors to enhance their writing while maintaining its authenticity, and I find it to be very gratifying work.
