While I'd be willing to help with structural editing, such as plots and characterization, my strengths remain in the grammatical/spelling areas. The only thing that I would ask is that you at least scan it before sending it to be sure there aren't too many unneeded mistakes (which would lead to it being less likely to me catching it). Also, I like to offer feedback on how to perhaps improve it, or just comments I have about it, and if I don't understand a part I'll often italicize it, bold it, or put blatant symbols around it. I'll say if I've done so, just warning any potential authors to watch for that so you don't mistakenly publish a story with my marks in it like that :) |
