Hi there, my main interest in being an Editor/Proofreader is to help writers to become better writers and enhance the readers' experience. I will edit the writers' stories in either of two ways, markup or correction, writers' choice. I can also structurally edit a story to help bring out the characters and plot as markup only, but will not change the story so that it no longer resembles what I was sent. If a story is lacking to the point of being unreadable I will return it with suggestions but not rewrite the story. I will keep copies of the original and edited versions for future reference. I will not disclose the manuscripts to anyone but the original author. I will not edit gay/lesbian/TV stories or poems of any type. Reviews and Essays are also not edited by me, they are mostly your opinion and therefore not something I want to get into as my opinion may be different. I prefer to have manuscripts as word documents but will take them as other types. All edited stories will be sent back as word doc. files unless otherwise stated prior to editing.
