First off, the most obvious skill that I've got... I am a published author IRL. Minor and unimportant drek, in my opinion, but I've been through the process and know how editing works. Furthermore, I am an obsessive-compulsive yahoo who actually LIKES to edit stories! In terms of kinds of editing, I am willing to do both grammatical/spelling and structural. PLEASE LET ME KNOW AHEAD OF TIME WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR IN AN EDITOR! (And if you're only looking for praise... "Good job." There, I've saved us both considerable time. You're welcome. :-)
THEMES: Just about anything, see the category preferences. I do prefer hetero and female/female (just can't really get into male/male, for some reason), but I can usually divorce my conscious mind from my passions to look at a story critically. |
