| Profile Statement:
I have a B.A. in Journalism (1989), a M.A.T. in Secondary English (1999), and many credits towards a Ph.D. that I could not complete because my first husband died while I was in the program. I took many creative writing courses and studied under James Dickey (Deliverance), William Price Fox (Southern Fried), Ben Green (Slammer), and others. I won awards for my creative writing and academic writing. In the Ph.D. program I maintained a 4.0.
I am an aspiring writer and plan to submit some erotica here. My goal is a mainstream novel based on my mother's family entitled "Olympia."
While in grad school, I worked through the Writing Center at the University of South Carolina as an independent editor. I was paid by other students to edit their work. At one point I had to stop taking new clients because my existing clients would not use another editor. I was previously a high school English teacher. I am a great advisor on plot, character development, the addition of detail, and so forth.
I am an excellent grammarian, writer, etc., and anything that went through me would come out polished and error-free, I assure you.
