I attended high school during an era when splitting an infinitive or misplacing modifiers was penalized, even if doing so placed out self esteem at risk. Even a single sentence fragment meant an "F."
I then earned an undergraduate degree at a campus of the University of California, where I also completed a year of grad school. I subsequently earned a J.D. from a major university in the Southeast. However, you may be assured that I am able to distinguish between the Queen's English and realistic dialogue.
I retired early, and now have too much time on my hands. I am a man who respects and appreciates women, whether or not they have a few wrinkles or sags, and without regard to cup size.
