| Profile Statement:
I have both undergraduate and professional degrees, but it may be more relevant that, for thirteen years, I reviewed the narratives in police reports on a daily basis, looking for problems with form or content, then kicking them back for correction. Although I am hopeless when proofreading my own work, my critical eye works well when reading work I haven't seen before.
I have indicated the categories I am willing to edit. My advancing years have not diminished my fascination with with the female body and with women as people. Most of my best friends, and all of my lovers, have been women. I think women are great! I would not be the best choice to edit a story in which women are demeaned, called bitches, dirty whores, or only as objects. |
