| Profile Statement:
You should always have other people proofread your writing before you present it and be open to critique. In my opinion, that is one of the key ingredients of being an excellent writer. A good editor, however, is like a jeweler cutting the rough off of a diamond. First, you have to determine if the stone is a genuine diamond and, if it is, you can begin to shape it into a beautiful jewel that catches everyone's eye. However, you have to be careful not to damage it. Too much, or the wrong kind of cutting can absolutely ruin the appearance of a diamond and make it worthless. If you think, you have a diamond in the rough, let me look at it and I will tell you if I'm the right guy for the job. |
