I'm a grammar geek. If you have trouble with your grammar or spelling I'm your girl. BUT... I also pick up on nuances of the stories I read and I know when something works and when something doesn't. I recently read a story (not on this site) in which the main character was supposed to be 24 years old, but was remembering an affair he had with a married woman 10 years ago. He described driving to her home for a tryst. Um, at 14? Really? The flow of a story is important to me, and details like that make a huge difference. I'd be happy to edit your submission, or serve as a beta reader. I am not comfortable with incest, bondage or non-consent related stories so if your story contains those themes I'd prefer that you pick a different editor. Thanks! |
