My interest as your editor is to make what you have cleaner, better. If you are wordy, so be it. If you are a word economist, a minimal worder who can make your point with less words, so be it. However, it is my job and pleasure (because who are we if not beings of pleasure?) to keep your story and work YOURS, in YOUR voice, with YOUR words. Not mine. That is why I write - to use my voice.
Your voice, your stories are sacred works. Personal, profound, quirky and unique. It is my wish to preserve the "you" in your work while encouraging the best version of you and your work.
