I'm a new author who greatly likes to edit other's work. I have done off-the-web editing for a number of people and have had good feedback. I'm hoping to establish a good reputation here.
My specialties are: catching spelling errors the spell checkers don't (i.e. valid spelling, but wrong word); correcting grammar and word usage (e.g. Women shudder, they don't shutter); and suggesting rewording to make sentences flow.
I am well read and have a strong knowledge of English language usage.
I will also point out inconsistencies and contradictions in your story line, including fact checking.
Finally, I provide feedback to those for whom English may not be a first language without being condescending. |
