| Profile Statement:
I have been an editor for over half my life, and I am regarded by my peers as a good proof reader. I have been editing on Literotica and a few other sites for well over a year. I was the chief editor of three newspapers during my education, I will read almost anything, I am no poet but I can make style recommendations on all other forms or writing. I enjoy helping others too.
I will correct spelling and grammar as well as structure so it meets the literotica guide lines. I will offer style changes and sentence structure changes; it is impressive what you can do with a little structure. Punctuation is my specialty. I can also offer plot advice, if requested, I will not force my style or personal interests on anybody. I also do picture editing and modification and can do audio editing, if you want either we can talk about a time frame. It takes a while.
Please contact me before sending me a copy of your story. I have no objections to editing long stories, but anything over ten pages may take more than 24 hours for me to do. Anything of a length of 10 pages or less I can probably do within twelve hours. I prefer submissions in .doc format, but will accept almost any format that I can modify.
For those who want to know how I edit, here are my current standards.
First my in depth method: I will return your document, any corrections or style changes I have made will be indicated as follows: ( ERROR : CORRECTION : Reason, explanation of the reason) I will also bold the entire thing. I recommend this to authors who are really trying to improve their writing; it takes a while to use it.
Second my summary Method: I highlight in yellow any mistakes in grammar, spelling or structure. I highlight in turquoise any minor style changes I recommend. (Nothing major, I will email before changing things if there is no way your story will be accepted without changes.) I highlight in pink any story continuity fault I corrected.(Does not include logic faults, I have a rather complete background in most scientific concepts, but will only suggest logic faults if asked.) I recommend this to authors who want control over the changes but don’t really need the details, most authors prefer this style.
Last my direct correction method: I make corrections to the story, no highlights, and send you back a copy that is ready for publication, that’s it. I recommend this only to authors who have complete trust in my skills and those who prefer to read there works again just to see if they can find what I did.
I will always send an email back after getting a story if I have not been told to use a specific correction style. All above listed corrections apply on for .doc manuscripts. (I will correct other formats but will discuss change methods, limits are the same.)
To all authors who I have worked with in the past, I sent an email out with my new email, but I did not reach all of you, my old email is now dead, no hope of revival.
