| Profile Statement:
I've been editing since my High School newspaper, through college and postgraduate training. In addition to the usual spelling, punctuation, and grammar work, I work with authors to keep the dramatic arc moving, to check continuity, to discuss word choices, and to (almost always) keep the author focussed and confident. Sometimes, this is called "Beta Editing." It's not easy to put your work out for anybody to criticise; I'm the part of your team that you can be sure is on your side and has your back (how's that for a pair of cliches?). |
