| Profile Statement:
I am interested mainly in points of the English language. I am writing a paper on proper/improper use of the English language, and how colloquial expressions come about, and are used in everyday writing and language. I do not profess to be perfect by any means, but I do know that a manuscript/story that you have looked over one hundred times may seem to be error free until you post it somewhere where it may be widely read. So I propose that I am a fresh pair of eyes, picking up grammatical errors and spelling mistakes that you may have missed. Through this, I hope to be exposed to a broad range of texts, enabling me to get a clearer picture of the English language. I will not quote or reference any piece of writing without prior permission from the authour, of course. |
