Hi fellow (c)Lit! I have been editing general interest community newsletters for 8 years, as well as a frequent contributor to my local newspaper, moderating several online forums as well. I possess perfect spelling, grammatical skills, as well as a flair for sentence/paragraph/story rhythm/story congruence. I also check for punctuation with ease. However, if your story is not of a certain standard, and takes me longer than 30 minutes to skim through, and do 90% of the editions within that 30 minutes, I generally will send it back to you, stopping at the 30min mark.
I prefer to edit stories between 2-4.5 pages in length. If however, you fleshed out your plot or characterisation, I will be pleased to beta your fic if they are broken up into parts. |
