| Profile Statement:
I have been a writer for almost twenty years. I taught school for eleven. Although I am reasonably new to Literotica, my skills have allowed me to write three stories. My first and second stories brought me; a few rave reviews, and a small but loyal group of fans. I am willing to editing grammatical; spelling and (or) structural editing of plots, characterization etc.
My history has been working with younger writers, and students (eighteen or over), and I would like to share any knowledge necessary to help a new writer with their work. I’m not overly critical, and I tend to accentuate the writers positive skills, and how to improve them. I do not teach English, however I have a tendency to push vocabulary, the knowledge of words (a little).
My methods are simple. I take a writers work and break it up into paragraphs, then add any comments below each paragraph, showing what was strong and why, and also showing what might have been better and why. I don’t believe trashing another writers work is a positive method of editing a story.
I believe Erotica Literature can be well written, as in any good book. My favorite writer is Dan Brown the author of “Angels and Demons” and “The Da Vince Code”. I don't feel comfortable editing, violent scenarios, such as rape, BDSM or Vampire, monster stories. Although Literotica is a business, they provide a fantastic sounding board for the works of young writers, and a great deal of knowledge, that is not available anywhere FREE. Please give me a chance to help you. |
