I am very skilled with the English language. Catching spelling errors, and often changes in tense tend to be my specialty. If I am editing your story it doesn't matter if I know anything about the subject area, because I am screening for missing words, reading for continuity, and asking if everything flows properly. My downfall is comma's I love putting them everywhere. Still I know places they should go and don't, and places they go they shouldn't. For me editing isn't as much about what you've written, but how well you've used the English language. Particular interests of mine are BDSM and non-consent/reluctance works. |
