| Profile Statement:
I am willing to help with any type of editing that needs to be done. I can do both grammatical/spelling and/or structural editing. I have been employed at the local community college as a tutor for their students. I have excellent grammatical and writing skills and a keen eye to catch what is often overlooked by the author. I am adept in helping the author fill in the "holes" in his or her stories, i.e. how to get what is in the author's mind to transfer successfully onto the paper so that the reader gets the full picture the author is trying to convey.
Thus far, I have been able to remain objective and focus on the story and keep my own values out of it and help the author to project his or her view effectively. Generally, the stories about which I am consulted are not in this lifestyle; therefore, while I am confident in my impartiality, should it become compromised, I shall be the first to list the source of such compromise. Having said that, I do not feel uncomfortable with any topic.... so far. The only limitations I would have would be those of my computer and/or computer skills. |
