Currently, I am a freelance ghostwriter of erotic romance for various clients. However, I was an English teacher for almost 35 years, and retired in June 2015 to pursue my other interest...writing full time. I have been an English major for longer than that. It used to be my job to coach teenagers and adults through the problems of written communication, and as a writer myself, with academic as well as non-fiction experience, I have a wealth of experience to draw from in helping anyone who might wish to use my services. I'll do any editing desired of me. My teaching goal has always been to show, rather than tell, so the experience will be both one of correction and suggestion. I hope to be able to help any writers who seek my help to do it for themselves eventually, and so learn to do without me. I believe writers only become better as they learn to "police" their own writing. I hope to help them learn to do that as I work with them on anything they ask me to do with them.
