| Profile Statement:
I am interested in becoming an editor for several reasons. One of the most important reasons is I am an avid reader and would love to assist the authors in making their writing better. I am also interested in editing because I can't seem to help myself edit work in my head as I'm reading it, I find that as I read stories I see things that I want to change. I also really love to edit. I have a bit of background in editing.
I have a BA and that alone gave me a lot of practise in editing my own work as well as the work of my friends. I'm also an ESL teacher. To teach English you need to have a good grasp of the language and grammar and you are constantly editing your students written work as well as their spoken language.
I am mostly interested in editing grammar and spelling because that is where my strength lies, although I would help with plot and characterization any way I can.
