I am a professional writer and editor. I have been so since 1971. I earned college money writing the "erotic" novels now found in truck stops. "Erotic" in that sense was a relative term. I suspect these were stained paperbacks found in college dorms, fraternity houses,the backs of trucks--at the time we called them "dirty books," but writing them paid the bills. Now I write and edit for a living, but have never lost my appetite for erotic literature.
What I don't much care for are the stuff of Penthouse Letters--guys attempting to create macho fantasies to make themselves feel better and to show off to their pals.
I'm into great writing, and I prefer romance and style and non-objectifying presentations. I am not into humiliation, but rather writing that makes sex beautiful and meaningful.
But most of all, I am into the writing. I can make most writing better, but I also recognize writing that impresses me.
Show off. Create literature, not pap. If you want help, I've got it. And if it gets me off, so much the better. |
