I'm an avid reader here on Lit and have posted my own stories with good scores. I worked as a professional, academic editor for several years, but would much rather help authors on Lit than a clinical medical journal. I think of myself primarily as a copy and continuity editor. I would prefer that you run a basic spellchecker first, but I'm very competent at clearing grammar and usage problems. Most grammar-checking fails at covering relaxed dialog and word choice errors (e.g. obsessive vs. excessive). I have particular knowledge of BDSM, D/s, bisexual, lesbian, and sci/fi. NO feet and NO tentacles, please! |
