Click hereThis one frustrated me a bit, trying to figure out color, as well as comparing my work with similar "themed" work. (I posted the ink sketch, the finished work as I completed it with marker and colored pencil and a Photoshop version.)
After a little debate I decided to run the final version through Photoshop. I have, to this point, resisted editing any of my art (but tweaking satiation ect as it never seems to scan appropriately) but I hate the "cheating feel." But after working most of the day on this one, and just wanting a good result, I decided to put it through a half hour or so of Photoshop editing. But while comparing my work to others I realized that most other artists (at least in this medium) use a lot of digital painting methods, and I debated if I should give in and go the digital route myself. But end the end, I decided, thou I maybe able to get better faster using the digital route, I will feel better about my work if I can just do it with traditional methods and gradually improve.
In short, hope I get better fairly quickly, because drawing people is frustrating, however it is challenging enough to be rewarding with every little breakthrough and improvement.
