There is off-the-shelf commercial software that is both easy to use and affordable. Using the programs together can allow you to produce ultra-realistic images, just like in the movies. In case you needed a hobby, this is almost as much fun as writing.

Lindie in Wireframe

This is what the model looks like before applying the skin. It's called wireframe. The software allows you to adjust the parameters, and then you apply a .jpg cover, adjust reflection and lighting, and eventually, it starts to look real.

I actually had to work on removing color from Lindie! She's supposed to have very pale skin when in her altered state. As for Jill, I'm still experimenting. Thanks for the comment, though.

very nice start

You have talent.

For your texture work, may i sugest more .. though subtile, veriety in your skin tones. On real skin, the color changes where there is bone closer to the surface.

watch how tone and saturation shift over the body i think you will see what i mean.

also, when lighting, add color to your loghts, if the software permits, uually warm key light, with cool reflected light and shadows.

Keep up the great work.
