Time and time again,
Things where said.
Leaving ones soul,
Once so pure, so dark.

Broken down,
Alone in thought.
Everything done wrong,
Never done right.

A heart on the mend,
Yet they don't see.
The pain and fear,
They set in me.

The fear of letting go,
Loving another.
Only to be hurt,
And broken in two.

The pain of not being,
What they expected.
Never forgetting that,
Second is not good enough.

Where a hug comes,
Only once in a while.
A place where love,
Is only a dream.

Healing Balm.

Bravely struggling to survive ~ heart mending in spite of the insensitive people responsible - Love is now only a dream.

Wishes and dreams

Are not the only place where

Hugs become real...
