Life set forth,
From the dark.
That had not,
A hope or prayer.

Seeing the light,
Set out to love.
An be loved,
With the spirit soar.

Loving and letting go,
So many times.
Being broken,
Torn apart.

Time had taken,
Its toll on body and heart.
Loving without,
Restriction of the soul.

Broken down beaten,
Standing alone.
Upon the edge,
Looking down.

The end was near,
Far closer then most would know.
Taking the one last step,
Over the edge to the unknown.

Into the darkness,
The cold.
Beyond the touch,
Of loves embrace.

Then you came,
Lighting the way.
Warming the dark,
Cold of death.

Teaching ones heart,
To beat once again.
With this new light,
Given to you my all.

With these words,
The love will show.
Until the end of time,
Our love will grow.
