tagNon-Erotic Poetry03' The Last Spark

03' The Last Spark

The darkness slowly coming,
The light fading.
Dripping away,
With each stain forming.

Dark of blood,
Running through the night.
With warmth leaking,
Seeping into the cold.

Warmth of life,
Flowing down below the mark.
Dripping from finger tip,
Pooling on the ground.

Eyes watching each drop.
The power of life,
Flowing silently.
Slipping away slowly.

Letting the pain drain,
As darkness closes in.
The last spark,
So fragile and weak.

The last spark,
May not be enough.
As the living,
Becomes the dead.
