2 am

Darkness surrounds me as I sit here alone
The only sound are my sighs echoing off the bare walls
Where do I go from here?
I step outside into a world of unknowns
Baring my soul to those who I can’t see
But one
Barely visible
Follows me
Who is this faceless soul that carries my sorrows in their hands

Each time I turn around
Swiftly they move into the shadows
I cry out
Reveal yourself to me
Lift my heart up
Fill me with life
My pleas go ignored
Silenced in the dead of the night

I look in at the four corners
I feel them
Edging near me
They wisp past me
I close my eyes and see them
In the front of my mind
Flowing
Sensual
Caring
Seductive beyond words
Tamashii meito
