The sign says "Please pay here".
I plonk my purchase down with a flourish –
The girl behind the till looks at me,
And then she looks down at my chest.
The label on the box says clearly, "38D"
And she is puzzled. I throw my shoulders back
And thrust out my little bust!
I say "It's for my girlfriend!" and
Up go her eyebrows in surprise.

Yes dear, I'm one of those wicked women –
You really don't know how wicked I am –
I'm gay. I like my own sex – and how!
I could have worn a studded, leather wristband,
I could have got a pink double-female badge,
Or had a girl's name tattooed upon my arm;
But – until you have come out
To the check-out girl at Marks & Spencers
You aren't really out at all.
Come out to her, and your not just "out",
You're "Out There"!

Wear it for me! It's lacy and extravagant.
Wear that loose, blue top that hints at your figure,
Wear the silver pendant that makes the slight valley
That promises a steeper contour underneath.
Wear these things so I can tug them off –
Now, let me look at you! Wow!
You are magnificent – a statue!
Stand tall, and let me move round you.
Now, bend forward – make a cleavage!
Oh to climb the sides of that,
And ski down the further slopes!

I know I gave you this silly, frilly gift,
But now I'll slowly take it off,
I want to see it slide over your shoulders,
White against cream –
Just feel the tightness of the straps relax –
You soft-scoop of a girl, you!
I want the scent of your skin,
I want to bury my face there,
I want to check out those aureoles
And your nipples hardening at my breath.
I have been looking with delight at such things
Ever since I was a girl!

I can remember the waiting,
The jealousy of watching other girls grow
While I was still diminutive.
Then excitement as mine began to shape,
A little disappointment when they stopped!
But always checking out, comparing,
Making mental notes of shapes.
It was this that first told me who I was,
It set me on my way to be this wicked woman.
I may look as soft-scoop as you do
But there are deeper things in me!
No matter – you are here, and I am loving.

Remove the gift yourself.
I want to see you take it off,
Laughing, half-embarrassed, standing there
Cuddling yourself against the cool.
Take them in your hands, lift them,
Point them at me. Now you're armed –
A pair of 38 specials, I surrender,
I'll come quietly.
Just promise me I can hold them too,
Let me flick those nipple safety-catches,
Let me see if you fire off when I suck them!

Remember this – You are beautiful!
You are a woman – that is enough!
You powerful lesbian – use your power!
Enough humility – 38D be proud!
