Iced tea,
Humming bee,
Cold as ice,
One more slice
Of Watermelon

Black heat
Sticky on your feet,
Smell of tar
Melting, near and far,
Glistening.

Skin of gold,
My hand to hold.
Walking in the sunshine
A sip of sparkling wine
A lover.

Barbecue lit
Coals crackle and spit
Nice cold beer
Whisper in the ear
Alfresco.

Hot nights
Mozzy bites
Sweat on skin
A silly grin,
Dreamer.

Very lovely...

my favorite season...for sunbathing in the buff. Bring on Global Warming then Canada may become the Florida of the north.

Oh yeah, bring on global warming; I'll take six months of summer and let's toss winter on the dustbin of history.
