5 Years

For Julie – the one who makes my soul smile

We shared 5 years that for me are the best years of my life
And I hope to share several more years.
Our years together we shared so much.
We shared our hearts, bodies and minds
We shared laughs, disappointments, anger and tears
But throughout baby, we have a connection

I know I still feel it, It is stronger than ever
You have put up with so much of my craziness
But we do so complement each other.
We have the same passions, drives and desires
We did have disagreements but we always talked them out
5 years baby, a long time and a lifetime

I do know after 5 years I I still love you with the same vigour
That I loved you 2 or 3 years ago with.
These 5 years have been the best times of my life.
You made me into a better man
You make me and shape me with your love

And I want to be your rock again,
And this time I will not stop telling you and showing you
How much you mean to me.
