the raucous caucus pandemic parade that swayed
the nation while lives were taken and we awaken to
the nerve of panicked politicians taking podiums with volition

lakes of lies like springs from victims eyes cry with no intention of healing
but stealing their grief and making it grow to show the world that these
criminals must die

civilization must intervene to confront the obscene obsession with weapons
of destruction for the mass corruption of media outlets that tout this with malice
and prowess to twist the mind of the average consumer

young men dying in place of old men in positions of power who cower and sign their names in the blood of others not pausing to uncover the absolute truth
that America’s youth is perishing without cause

sunk in a mess of social unrest the economy dips and anguish spreads on diseased lips
mourning the sacrifice and entitlement to freedom for safety
hasty decisions lay waste to the hefty left

voiceless protest to the lowness of puppets on strings
paint on the canvas sings of glory against war on terror
the error self evident and prevalent in defining history

days like a smudge the bludgeon effect of neglect of papers in files
aisles of knowledge contained in a vault never to blame or take fault
in the sludge or the grudge of our allies no more in this war

tour of duty prolonged futures swallowed and wronged
putting on a front for the flag where it’s used as a rag
and burned like garbage in sewers of filth

march and parade the tortured and saved as they cry for a culture soon dead
live the life of American’s instead where church and state never relate
and stupidity has no reward

Tough sell; tough read. Bottom line's the case where the confrontation's between a society where church and state are supposed to be kept apart and a society where church and state are one.
