Though time has gone and passed.
This heart was meant to be last.

Through pain and hurt
I shed no tears.

Now that time is through
I can go on
With my life right.

Wrong.
The pain and hurt
that brought no tears.
Is now what I fear.

To be in your arm's embrace
I would love.
But yet I fear
To let my heart
Get so near.

To taste your lips on mine
Would be like a fine wine.

But yet I fear to drink
Of one's sweetest taste.
The fear of this one's heart
Is yet so unclear.

I live my life in fear
To the pain and hurt
That had shed no tears.
Wonder when
You will be near.

To Trust?

A profound sense of longing ~ to once again trust in matters of the heart.
