Thousands of miles away
I can feel your heart beat.
Every breath blown to the wind.
Every thought unsaid
Every touch not felt.

Thousands of miles away.
My heart beats for one so true.
Beyond the touch
Beyond the softness of breaths
Beyond every spoken word.

Every step I take
Every mile I walk.
Takes me closer
To ones loving embrace.

Thousands of miles
I will travel.
To bring me closer
To the safety
Of your open arms.

The soft touch
Of your skin to mine.
You tender lips
That brush against mine
Brings a tear to the eye.

Thousands of miles away.
To be so close,
Yet so far
From the one
That you love.

No distance to far.

Distance has no effect on the enduring love felt for one far away. Though a thousand miles away - love endures.
