A girl walks down the street
She is tall and beautiful. She
routinely turns the heads of both
men and women.

She is beautiful. She is fabulously wealthy.
There is nothing she cannot have. Power,
wealth and beauty are the privileges of her
lineage. She is the daughter of a rich man.
The crown jewel of her family.

She can have anything, but nothing can take
away the emptiness that she feels. It's an emptiness
which will not go away. The absence of love is something
terrible which no human being can escape.

In this regard at least, this mortal goddess is just like
the rest of us. In the search for love, all of us are
vulnerable and searching blindly for the same thing. Good
luck to her and to the rest of us.

Know this, all of you who think the life of
a beautiful woman is easy. Yes, her looks can
win her what yours cannot. The admiration and
attention of those around her. Yet she is looking
for what you seek. Something deeper.

For those of you who envy her the beauty she was
born with, know that like you she is mortal and
looking for the only thing which gives life meaning.
There are all kinds of love. The love of a man for
a woman. The love of a man for a man. The love of
a woman for a woman. The love of a man for both
men and women. The love of a woman for both
men and women.

All these paths lead to the same destination. Good
luck to all is all that I can say. My brothers and
sisters, take care of yourselves and never abandon
the search.

The end.

Loneliness.

*"Beauty is needful only at first, as is a hand to guide an infant's steps..."This poem has an undertone of sadness, thoough the imagery is lovely. There's a quiet mystical feeling about this rendering.

An encouraging piece for anyone and everyone

Engaged in that eternal quest for love and companionship.
