A big and lonely rock
In the middle of nowhere
Inaccessible

A stake on it's top
Burning and glowing in anger
Warming and threatening at the same time

I set fire on it myself
I did not know it at the time
Now everything is burning

I came here on my wings
They did carry me
There is no road

Now they are burnt and I can't fly

Without them I can never leave
Without them I can never heal

I need to become the phoenix
And throw myself into the fire
And burn to ashes

It will hurt
But it's the only way

Only in pain there is salvation
Only fire burns the agony

Only resurrected and with new wings I can ever leave here
And I do want to come back

To You
