A Clock Ticks Somewhere
By D. Alan Dunne
A clock ticks somewhere that counts away the moments I spend wanting you.
Tick tock--tick tock my whole day through.
A clock ticks somewhere that counts away the moments I spend loving you.
Tick tock--tick tock--do you love me too?
A clock somewhere ticks --Moments without you so unfair.
Tick tock--tick tock--lover are you there?
A clock ticks somewhere--I can hear it's rhythm.
Tick tock--tick tock --I think I'm suffering romanticism.
The clock strikes twelve--a long afternoon.
Tick tock--tick tock--you'll be here soon.
The clock strikes two-if you only knew.
Tick tock--tick tock--that without you I'm blue.
A clock ticks somewhere that counts away the moments I spend waiting.
Tick tock--tick tock-- you're sweet kiss I'm anticipating.
A clock ticks somewhere--I'm so in love.
Tick tock--tick tock--'cause you're the woman
I've always dreamed of.
