Enveloped in the dark of night.
Caressed only by the light of the moon.
Consoled by the feasting of another’s soul.
Colors once lifeless, now vibrant and strong.
Every sensation brought to a heightened awareness.
My mind clear, in tuned with the universe.
Hunger, once painful and intense,
Mercifully relieved as rich blood pulsates in my veins.
A stranger, lurking in the shadows no more,
His heart and soul carried away with me.
An empty shell the only proof of his existence.
