Science came up the steps, knocked on the door
Science handed me a nice little floral bouquet
I'd never had a real date with Science before
It was going to be such an exciting day

I never did anything to Science
And Science never did anything to me
Science took us out to a Chinese cafe
We had Kung Pao Crab and nice hot tea
We sat side by side and talked and laughed
Science put a scientific hand on my knee [chorus]
Science brought me home right at midnight
We hugged and kissed with our tongues at the door
Science walked away under the pale streetlights
So why do I feel like a cheap whore? [chorus]
