As the rising tide washes on my feet
I remember everything I wished you said to me
Everything that a good lover should
In every way a good lover could

The sunset falls on my tired skin
While thinking about our falling out again
I guess it doesn't matter
and no know needs to know
It's like a washed up beach
Where no one ever goes

I feel like running along the shore
An urge I've never felt before
As if my breath could erase what we did
As if my breath could blow out every sin

Later on I lay by someone else tonight
Just to keep the bed warm
And conversation light
Maybe you are doing the same
After all, it is just a game

Yet I know in the looming winter breeze
What we had will be nothing to me
After a summer of lovers and romantic dreams
You'll still be an asshole
And nothing more than a faded memory

This would make excellent lyrics for a song. Very rhythmic and I like the use of repetition through out, as if there's a chorus to take us through your faded memory.
