Friend or foe?
Who really knows?
Always hard to find,
One to honestly trust.

Friends are like a street,
It runs both ways.
Both need to give
And take equally.

Friend or foe?
Who will you be?
Trusted friend
Or a foe that’s fooled me.

~~

The chameleon-like nature of some folk — they may appear as friend but their true nature is well hidden, as is their own personal agenda. A foe of which to beware.
