It was calm so radiant and enveloping
Rolling together as one
Seeking the same warm shores
Currents flowing softly

Perfection it seemed
Expansive lustrous blue
Continuing on forever

Then a rumble of waves crashing
Dark skies that struck our calm with sudden fervor
Salt and foam tossed like feathers onto the shore
Blown by ragged winds in different directions

And like the a gentle tide when the quiet comes
I will leave you softly
just as I have loved you
A subtle breeze will once again carry me away
