My good deed
I saw his face eager and smiling
His eyes following me pleading
Wanting to come very near
I said to him 'hold on my dear'
I went to the kitchen & lit the stove
It was time to show my love
Filled the bowl & boiled the water
Prepared the milk as a dutiful mater
As soon as it was ready, I took a taste
Yes my dear, I will make haste
I showed him the bottle & pointed the teat
He was famished, began sucking his treat
As he sucked I heard him slurp
Then he gave a contented burp.
I put him in to his crib
Then I removed his bib.
As he began to close his eye
I heaved a quiet sigh.
But a mother's work is never done
I still had to feed another one.
I turned to see him, his eyes shining
As always I could feel him pining
I am ready for you, my sweet darling
Mama is ready for your feeding.
I let him climb onto my lap
Opened my blouse which began to flap
Unhooked my bra and moved it aside
Caressing his head, I smiled with pride
Bending down, on his head I gave him a kiss
Promising him, 'your feed I never will miss'
Taking my breast in my hand, cooing & crooning
Fed his mouth my milk laden nipple
A gesture pure and simple
He began to suck with all his energy
Feeding him was pure ecstasy
As I felt my milk begin to flow
My love to him began to show
He kept on sucking and nursing
While I enjoyed the feeding and nurturing
As my breast became empty
I felt his hunger and my pity
Wait, my love, lets us switch to the other
All my milk is for you, none other
He shifted his attention as was necessary
I fed his mouth, my swollen blue veined mammary
As he drained all my milk and sucked my nipple
I gave him a smile which showed my dimple
I could soon feel my breasts become light
But my face was shining & bright
Suddenly the telephone began to ring
My hand went to the left like a spring
The voice was clear and the time punctual
For what had become our daily ritual
The caller was my faithful husband
Whose trust in me was great and grand
The question as always "I hope all is well?'
I answered as I felt my heart swell
Yes my dear our baby is sleeping
Lucky today there was no weeping
What about my daddy is he somewhere near?
He has already fed well, my dear
I then clutched daddy to my breast
He is taking his afternoon rest
I once again gave daddy my nipple to feed
Proud that I am doing a good deed.
