A Hole in my Heart

Wandering through life looking for what I need for completeness.
Searching for that special need that I hunger for so much.
Not knowing where this longing comes from or why it is there.
Hunting for the part of me that that will make me whole.

My path is long and narrow with pitfalls all around me.
Striving to discover that which I have been searching for.
Sometimes I feel like giving in to defeat and death.
Is that which I seek really there for me?

Through Faith and prayer I realized that which I sought.
A blessing bestowed upon us that ends her search also.
Bound together by God and our vows together as one flesh.
Filled with joy, butterflies, dreams, and love.

At last my soulmate and I are complete, two halves as one.
We share, we dream, we hold each other tightly merged together.
We plan our future and know it is God's will for us to be in love.
Between the Lord and our faith, no obstacles can stand before us.

Then it happened she was attacked. She thought she could do it alone.
She bound me by love and promises not to interfere in her struggle.
The fear had to be conquered but it didn't have to be done as one.
It was harsh and cruel using lies and threats and at last my angel fell.

The lies and the threats she knew were not real but somehow she lost her faith.
They chained her spirit, stole her dreams, and used her to hurt me.
Now she knows how little they think of what she wants yet she allows it.
Her friends changed her to fit what they wanted and lowered her to their level.

I watch bound and gagged as they abuse her and darken her soul for fun.
As they lead her far from God's path for her I can do nothing but pray.
The tears I shed for her are of LOVE Forever and Always as we vowed together.
Our Soul torn in half waiting to be healed and leaving a hole in my heart.

Only she and GOD have the power to fix this tragedy.
