I only knew about you for a few weeks.
You were with me less than two months.

For fourteen years
you were:
longed for
prayed for
cried out for
begged and pleaded for.

The day that I found you, my heart sang.
The night that you left me, my heart shattered.

I love you.
I miss you.
I miss all that you were going to be.
I miss the face I never saw.
The hands I never held.
The laughter I never heard.

Beautiful....

yet heartwrenching at the same time. Don't take me the wrong way, that's good, at least in my book. Definitely makes one feel if they get the meaning behind the poem. *hugs*
