A Loss

"A LOSS"
Losses comes in many different ways
They can take a heart and twist it
where the pain always stays

You try to find a way to deal
and let it all go
Then when you least expect it
you become low

Death is hard to deal with
and harder to try to handle
Doctors says drugs is the answer
but they don't even hold a candle

To the loss and hurt that you feel inside
that takes over your body and your mind
Wanting your loved one back
because they were one of a kind

Picking up the pieces while
trying to go on with life
Searching for the answer
but finding only strife

Tears comes and doesn't' seem to stop
Your eyes becomes a constant rain drop

Mom i love and miss you
more than you could know
My love for you lives on
and my heart is now low
