I remember your face in the window
as I handed you the book
and you wrote your life between its pages
you had come for healing

I had been closed for centuries
but you looked at me
and smiled
and the door flung wide

I placed my right palm
open
upon your naked chest
'What are you doing?' you quietly asked
'I'm mending your broken heart...'

Mending.

What an tender way of mending a broken heart. Strong images and the mood is very evocative. Lovely rendering. Top Notch!
