These were written by myself and a dear friend of mine with whom I had the pleasure to work with from 1988 through 1992...I have lost touch with her over the last 3 years, but I will always treasure the the time we spent composing the music that we recorded...

I post these as a tribute to her amazing vocal and arraignment talents. Without her, some of these may have never been set to music..

All lyrics and arrangements are used with permission and acknowledgments appear at end of song..

What's Become of You - Sherri H

Often wonder where you live
And where you make your bucks
I wonder where you're going to
Have you been touched with life's luck

My boy are you pleased
And do things make you happy
With work all in a day
Is everything going your way

Chorus:

What's become of you?
Where is your life?
What's become of you?
Tell me.. Is everything alright?

Oh Father whose porch
Do you lie on now
And who feeds you breakfast
At the lost and found

Do you wonder where I live
And if I have charm
Oh Pappa don't you long to hold me
Pappa hold me in your arms

Chorus:

What's become of you?
Where is your life?
What's become of you?
Tell me.. Is everything alright?

Often wonder where you went
I really wish i knew
I always ponder what's your gift
Does everyone look up to you

Ooh pained since I lost you child
I'm crying in my beer
Tell me where you've gone to
I've lost you that's my fear

Chorus:

What's become of you?
Where is your life?
What's become of you?
Tell me.. Is everything alright?

Lyrics & Arraignment (C) Sherri H

GodsLamb

(Spoken at whisper)

Fear not.
That whosoever believeth in him
should not perish, but have everlasting life.
(John 3:16 in part)

I felt no one could make it better
After all the calls I'd made
No hurt soul in the world
Could hurt as bad as mine that day

My God screamed out and yelled for me
With joy and hope in hand
He beckoned me to join his force
Be truthful make my stand

Chorus:

Godslamb...A mortal sinning man
Godslamb...A mortal winning man
Godslamb

He said if you would come with me
All troubles will disappear
You'll stop your crying forever
I know why you weep your tears

He took me to that big ol' gate
The gate that faces East
His voice was like the roar of thunder
Made from men at sea

Chorus:

Godslamb...A mortal sinning man
Godslamb...A mortal winning man
Godslamb

(Spoken at whisper)

Yea, though I walk through the valley
of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil:
for thou art with me (psalm 23:4)

I threw myself unto the floor
When Gods came to destroy
The day the Temple opened up
Was the day i screamed for joy

The Lord continued mortal man
Tell them what you've done
Fighting doorposts with your glory
Is not a job well done

Chorus:

Godslamb...A mortal sinning man
Godslamb...A mortal winning man
Godslamb
