Heard tale of a game
It really seems strange;
For I can do what's done
Without all that pain.

Reach in the cupboard
Pull out a cup;
Results seem so simple
I do it standing up.

Why ever would men
Take a club, long and stiff;
Beat on their balls
Pain must be intense.

The rules seem to limit
Who hits whose balls;
You can hit your own
But not the other fellow's.

To make matters worse
They walk hundreds of yards;
Place their balls in a cup
Buried down in the ground.

Must be a masochist's game.

Very funny, I played golf for the first time last spring and I couldn't agree with you more.

Still Laughing!!

Subtitle it an idiot's game --- makes more sense to play a game of darts. It's cheaper, doesn't take up a lot of space or time, and is much more fun, especially with some suds thrown in. It only takes a couple hours to burn off those suds.

I can just picture this---------

Leon, After all this time, I can still hear your voice and when I read this, I can hear how you would say it. That makes it even funnier. Next time he goes out to play I might just lose all self-control and bust out laughing! CP
